ABOUT
The Sumner County RC Flyers has been flying at our field located in the beautiful Bledsoe Fort Historic Park in Castalian Springs, TN for over 15 years.
We fly electric radio control planes year around due to noise concerns and just the general trend in the hobby. Many of our members also fly multirotor aircraft, aka drones, and a limited amount of helicopters.
Our field consists of greater than 25 acres of open, but tree bordered, land with a grass runway of approximately 600' long by 75' wide. We have a picnic shelter, which we enclose in the cooler months for year around flying, bathroom facilities, and electrical service to the field. Our members fly on weekends and on many days during the week. Club activities include Fun Flys, Picnics, and other special event days during the year.
We are an Academy of Model Aeronautics chartered club, #4595, and follow the rules and guidelines of the AMA. Club members must be a current member of the AMA.

Membership Fee: $40.00
Mowing Assessment - $60.00 prior to July 1st $30.00 after July 1st
You must have a current Academy of Model Aeronautics membership to be a member of the SCRCF club.
